We absolutely loved our stay at Pinewood Resort near Grand Bend! Tucked away in a peaceful spot, it has the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience, just 20 minutes to Grand Bend Beach, less than 10 minutes to the Pinery, and with a gorgeous water view right at the end of the road. Our room was spotless and beautifully maintained, with everything you could want: a full kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and a huge bathroom with water pressure so good it deserves its own five stars. Add in a heated pool, BBQs, and the cutest little tiki bar, and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect getaway. It’s dog-friendly, but adult-only, which is a genius combo. Bring your fur babies, leave the human ones at home. Peaceful, quiet, and fun all at once. Kim was wonderful to deal with and made everything easy. The only sad part? We noticed the resort is for sale. Fingers crossed the new owners don’t mess with the magic as it’s already perfect. If you’re looking for a spot that feels like a little slice of paradise without the chaos, this resort is perfect!
This quaint little getaway spot feels like home. It is private, intimate and so comfortable. Kim the owner cares so much about the guest experience that you can feel her heart in every detail. Everything from the pool, to the firepit, Palapa's and the rooms was everything you could want. The beds were super comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach with local beachie restaurants. My only regret is not booking for a longer stay. 2 nights away was just not enough. Next time I will book longer and truly enjoy my local staycation.
This little piece of Paradise is absolutely amazing. Right from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Kim is a sweet kind lovely Lady, who will do anything for you. The grounds are impeccable, rooms are spotless and the heated pool is amazing. If you are looking for quiet, friendly, pet friendly you have got the right place. Book fast because it goes fast. You will not be disappointed. :)
This place is beautifully redone and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Love that it’s adults only and pet friendly. We met some wonderful people there this trip. The pool was nicely heated and clean, perfect to relax in while the sun was shining. Perfect distance to the ipperwash beach and some trails. Would love to return next year if it doesn’t sell ;)
This place is FRIENDLY. Friendly in the notes around the Premices, Friendly in the Coffee they supply. Friendly in the Sheets so soft on the beds, Friendly in the Dogs mellow around the pool and area. Friendly in the Wagons they supply at entrance to bring your Items to your room. We spent a beautiful weekend here it was quiet and private the guests were nice and the owner was amazing. I would highly recommend this place. The pool was heated the grounds are wonderful. Lots of close shopping near by. I personally love it was adults only. Just something was nice about being able to escape from the young ones for a couple of days. I loved it so much we booked for next year before we even checked out.
WOW what an amazing place. We rented room 7 and it was beautiful. Very clean and fully equipped with everything you would need for a get away weekend. Just bring your own food. We had a wonderful time. Pool area was great and best of all we were able to bring our dog and that was a big plus. I would highly recommend you try this place. Kimberly was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. We will definitely go back.
Best place to relax and enjoy. We stayed in 7 and had a wonderful time. Fire pit and salt water pool. Owner Kim is so sweet and we were able to add another night. The shower had great water pressure and lots of hot water. It made us feel clean after being at the beach all day. We will be back.
